Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy defines and regulates the principles of processing, storage, and protection of personal data on the digital platform ApolloCV. Individual Entrepreneur Anri Tsetskhlashvili (hereinafter referred to as the "Administration") acts as the data controller and undertakes the obligation to protect the privacy of each user in full compliance with the requirements of the Law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection".

1. Categories of Processed Personal Data

1.1. In the process of registration, authorization, and use of services on the Platform, the Administration collects and processes the following types of information:

1.1.1. Registration data: User's first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

1.1.2. Resume data: Information voluntarily entered or uploaded by the User regarding professional experience, education, skills, photograph, links to professional social networks, and any other personal details specified in the resume.

1.1.3. Technical data: The User's device Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, operating system, and website navigation history, which is necessary for the proper functioning and security monitoring of the Platform.

1.2. When purchasing paid services on the Platform, the processing of financial transactions (bank card data) is carried out exclusively on the secure page of a partner licensed banking institution. The Administration does not collect, possess, or store the User's full bank card details.

2. Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing

2.1. The legal basis for processing personal data is the voluntary consent expressed by the User and the performance of the service agreement (Terms of Service) concluded between the parties.

2.2. Data processing is carried out for strictly defined, following legitimate purposes:

2.2.1. Ensuring the core functionality of the Platform, which includes generating, storing, and downloading the resume in a digital format.

2.2.2. Stylistic and grammatical optimization of textual content and compatibility analysis through artificial intelligence algorithms.

2.2.3. Facilitating the employment of the Individual User, based on their prior consent, by providing access to the resume for authorized Legal Entity Clients (employers).

2.2.4. Establishing two-way communication with the User, providing technical support, and delivering system notifications.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence, Cross-Border Transfer, and Security

3.1. To provide the service of text optimization and compatibility analysis, the Platform uses third-party artificial intelligence systems (including Google Gemini, whose servers may be located outside of Georgia). The textual information in the resume is transmitted to third-party algorithms exclusively for the processing procedure.

3.2. The Administration declares and guarantees that no personal data transmitted to third-party artificial intelligence systems is used for the training or educational purposes of these external models. Data transmission occurs through secure, encrypted channels.

3.3. The Administration implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Users' personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access. This includes encryption of databases, the use of security protocols, and strict hierarchical restriction of access to information by the Platform's employees.

3.4. Although the Administration utilizes the highest security standards accepted in the industry, due to the specifics of the global Internet network, a 100% security guarantee of the system does not exist. Accordingly, the Administration is not liable for unauthorized access to, destruction, or disclosure of data if this is caused by a cyber-attack (so-called hacker activity) beyond the reasonable control of the Administration or by the illegal actions of third parties.

4. Transfer of Data to Third Parties and Retention Periods

4.1. The Administration does not transfer, sell, or infringe upon the User's personal data to third parties, except in cases directly provided for by this Policy, the Terms of Service, and the applicable legislation of Georgia. When using the public (anonymous) sharing feature or upon an employer's request to disclose the candidate's identity (reveal request), data is transmitted to a third party only on the basis of an action initiated by the User or direct electronic confirmation.

4.2. The User's personal data is stored on the Platform during the period of their account activity, for the purpose of providing the service. Data will be automatically deleted or subjected to irreversible depersonalization within a maximum of 30 (thirty) calendar days from the submission of a request by the User to cancel (delete) the account, except in cases where data retention is mandatory to fulfill tax or other legislative obligations.

5. Personal Data of Minors

5.1. The Platform is not intentionally intended for persons under the age of 16. The Administration does not knowingly collect and process the personal data of persons under the age of 16 without the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian. In the event it becomes known that the data of a person under the age of 16 has been placed on the Platform without appropriate consent, the Administration will ensure the immediate deletion of such information.
