Job description
ABOUT AIRWALLEX
Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles https://www.airwallex.com/en-us/operating-principles to see it in full.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE IMPACT
As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll connect customer needs, commercial teams, and product strategy to make Airwallex’s Payments suite easier to understand, adopt, and scale. You’ll shape clear, differentiated positioning and messaging, then bring it to life through product launches and go-to-market plans across sales, marketing, pricing, and operations. You’ll use qualitative and quantitative insights from customers, channels, and product data to test hypotheses, refine our approach, and make informed decisions.
- Drive clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for Airwallex’s Payments suite across global markets
- Build and execute product launch and go-to-market plans that align sales, marketing, pricing, and operations teams
- Improve the customer experience across websites, emails, content, presentations, and other touchpoints
- Deliver sales enablement materials that help commercial teams position, sell, and scale our products
- Partner across global and regional strategy, product, sales, marketing, operations, design, and data analytics teams to drive product adoption and usage
You'll work from our San Francisco office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIALS
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or product strategy at a fast-growing technology company
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience partnering with commercial and product teams to launch go-to-market campaigns that grow product adoption and usage
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply
- A self-starter mindset, with the ability to identify and prioritise opportunities, roll up your sleeves, and go deep into complex problems
- A track record of collaborating across functions and driving impact with sales, operations, design, marketing, product, and data analytics teams
PREFERRED
- Experience in financial services and/or financial technology
- Experience building sales pipelines and scaling enterprise businesses
YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF
- You’re comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway.
- You’re not precious about your ideas. You push hard for what you believe in, but you pivot fast when the data says otherwise.
- You simplify complexity rather than hiding behind it.
- You connect dots across functions and hold the big picture without losing grip on the details.
- You adapt your communication style to your audience without losing your core message.
